Who we are

L Artistry Nail Studio is a private nail studio in Brooklyn owned by Lawren Lee. "We" and "us" in this policy mean L Artistry. This policy covers this website and the booking, sign-up and contact tools it links to.

What we collect

When you book. Booking runs through Acuity Scheduling. You give your name, email, phone number, the service you choose and any notes or inspiration photos you add. Your $35 deposit is paid through the payment processor connected to Acuity. We do not see or store your full card number.

When you join the list. Your first name and email address.

When you text, email or message us. Whatever you choose to send, such as inspo photos or questions. The message chat on this site asks for your name and phone number so Lawren can text you back.

Automatically. The company that hosts this site keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages visited) to run and protect the site. The site's fonts load from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address to deliver them. Cookies are only set if you accept them. See Cookies.

How we use it

To schedule, confirm, remind you about and manage your appointments
To take and track deposits, and to apply our booking policies
To answer your questions and plan your set (for example, ordering charms you asked for)
To send you new sets, seasonal designs and open spots if you joined the list or sent us a message through the site chat (both say so when you submit). Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can reply STOP to any text.

Cookies

Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. This site asks before loading anything that sets them. Until you choose Accept, the booking calendar and the sign-up form stay switched off, and you can still book in a new tab.

Booking calendar (Acuity Scheduling). Loads the calendar on the Book page and keeps your booking session working.
Sign-up form (GoHighLevel). Loads the newsletter form and records your sign-up.
Message chat (GoHighLevel). Loads the "Message Lawren" chat button so you can send a question and get a text back.

Your choice itself is saved in your browser's local storage so we don't ask on every page. You can change it any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.

Photos of your nails

Lawren may photograph your finished set for her portfolio, this website and social media. Photos show your hands and nails only. If you would rather your set not be posted, tell her at your appointment or by email. She will not post it, or she will take it down if it is already up.

How long we keep it

We keep booking and payment records for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet tax and business record-keeping rules. If you unsubscribe from the list, we stop emailing you right away.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email [email protected] and we will reply within 30 days. We may need to keep some records the law requires us to keep. You can unsubscribe from emails at any time and decline cookies.

Children

This site is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Keeping it safe

We use trusted, established services for booking, payments and email, and we limit who can see client information. No method of sending or storing data online is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect yours.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update it here and change the date at the top. Questions? Contact us:
